Plans, upgrades, and downgrades
How Free, paid, and lifetime plans work — including when changes take effect.
Plans control which modules you can use (recipe library, cookbooks, Plan Studio, Brand Kit, and more) and any numeric limits. Exact modules and prices are managed live — check Pricing for the current offer.
Typical plan ladder
- Free — explore, free recipes, limited planning
- Essential — unlock more of the library and planning tools
- Pro / Pro Unlimited — professional features such as Brand Kit and PDF exports, with higher limits on Unlimited
- Lifetime (when offered) — one-time purchase for the selected plan’s access
Changing plans
- Upgrade — takes effect immediately; this billing period is prorated
- Downgrade — current plan continues until the period ends, then the new plan starts (no surprise mid-cycle charge)
- Manage payment method / cancel — use Manage subscription (Stripe Customer Portal)
